Al’s Beach Club & Burger Bar presents a free Beach Luau Party on Okaloosa Island, August 18th at 5 pm. The family friendly event will feature an island dance and fire performance in which entertainers will spin blazing hula hoops and flaming staffs, and other thrilling acrobatics. The performance by Aerial Events will begin at 8 pm. Prizes will be awarded for tropical beach games such as adult and child limbo contest. Music will feature the stylings of Dikki Du and the Zydeco Crew, a four-piece Lousianna band, from 9 pm to midnight. Guests can taste the islands with a Polynesian pig roast, little piggie plate for the little ones, and tropical cocktails, all with fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico! Proceeds from the Beach Luau Party will benefit the Emerald Coast Wounded Warriors.
Emerald Coast Wounded Warriors’ goal is to bring local warriors together on the Emerald Coast and to assist with providing forward momentum to healing those warriors. They are not associated with Wounded Warrior Mission but, likewise, seek to educate the public about none-visible wounds such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
