DESCRIPTION:Singer-songwriter Casey Kearney was born and raised in the Florida panhandle. Though she never thought she’d get further in the music industry than singing into her “hairbrush microphone\,” Casey has made a name for herself in the local music scene\, and was a Top 6 finalist in the Pepsi Southern Original contest for the Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach\, Florida with headliners Eric Church\, Brad Paisley\, and Brett Eldridge. Casey was also a top 5 Finalist in the NASH Next competition. She has won and placed in many other contests over the years\, and recently\, along with her band\, performed at the 40th Annual Bobby Bayou Mullet Festival\, opening for Justin Moore and Chase Bryant. \nCasey had many diverse musical influences growing up\, but country was always her go-to favorite. Garth Brooks\, Reba McEntire\, Travis Tritt\, Faith Hill and Trisha Yearwood were always favorites of her and her younger sisters. Taking that childhood love of country\, Casey recorded her highly anticipated EP in Nashville\, TN with a top 5 charting\, award winning producer and some of the top musicians in the world. The first single\, Guns and Glitter\, was released spring of 2016 and within one week was on several mainstream radio stations.
